What are permanent disability benefits?

Posted on May 25th, 2010 No Comments

When employees are injured on the job, they may be able to receive workers’ compensation benefits. These benefits come in many forms depending on the nature of the injury.

If the work-related injury leads to a permanent loss of physical ability, injured employees may be able to receive permanent disability benefits. The loss of physical ability, however, does not mean that the injured worker cannot return to his or her job. Instead, workers who receive permanent disability benefits may be able to still return to their job.

If you or anyone you know has been injured on the job, contact the Iowa workers’ compensation attorneys of LaMarca & Landry, P.C., at 877-327-2600.
