Elementary school employee injured, seeks punishment for principal
An employee of a Florida elementary school is speaking with the Florida school board about an incident in which he was kicked in the groin by a student. The man claims that the school’s prinicpal is at fault because she allowed the young student to bully classmates and staff.
The incident occurred last October, when the man was overseeing after-school detention. A young girl kicked the man in the groin, and he was severely injured. The man has claimed that, following the incident, the school’s prinicipal did not call authorities.
The superintendent of the district sent a letter of reprimand to the principal for not reporting the incident to authorities. However, the man believes that the principal should also be fired for acting negligently and allowing the incident to occur and is calling on the school board to enact a punishment on the principal.
