One hurt, one dead after fall from ladder

Posted on March 14th, 2012 No Comments

A 51 year-old man has died and a 48 year-old man is injured after they both fell from a ladder earlier this month in Brandon Township, Michigan. The two men were on the ladder as they tried to climb to the roof of a two-story building when the accident occurred.

The 51 year-old man fell and hit several electrical wires, which electrocuted and killed him. His co-worker was shocked by the fall, but he was alert and conscious when emergency crews arrived.

They were both rushed to a nearby hospital where the older man died. Michigan OSHA will investigate the scene to determine the cause of the accident.
