A man from Lovell, Wyoming recently had his hand amputated while working at American Colloid, a mining and manufacturing plant.

The man was standing on a ladder 10 feet above the ground while attempting to fix a problem with a screw conveyor. The man’s right hand became stuck in the conveyor and was amputated. He was flown to a hospital in Denver, Colorado where he is currently still in treatment.

The accident is currently being investigated by the Mine Safety and Health Administration, who said they will most likely be issuing the company a fine for the accident.

A Wyoming man working at Mountain Productions, a company that produces stages for concerts, recently lost his leg when a pipe fell on it.

The accident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 9:25 a.m. A machine was moving a large pipe through the air when it became loose and fell on the man’s leg. Amublances and emergency workers arrived on the scene to find that the man’s leg was severely damaged by the pipe and had to be amputated.

The man’s name has not been released, and the company is not currently speaking to reporters about the accident. The OSHA is currently investigating the accident to determine what caused the pipe to fall on the man’s leg.
