A 24 year-old worker at a recycling plant was killed when the hood of his sweatshirt got caught in a conveyor belt, causing the man to choke to death. The man was not found until lunch time, when co-workers went to check on him.
The plant has only been in operation for three years, and it has been reported that this is the only death that has occurred. Results from an autopsy have not yet been released, and the tragedy is still being investigated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
