Man Still Waiting for Workers’ Comp
A man who used to work for the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant applied for workers’ compensation in 2003 and again last year. He was a civilian employee of the Army when he worked there 17 years after World War II.
The man suffers from renal cancer as well as other medical conditions as a result of his work. Unfortunately, that work was classified and he cannot prove employment with the Atomic Energy Commission. Because of this, he has still not heard back about whether or not he will be compensated.
