How to detect carpal tunnel syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome is a common workplace injury. It typically results from office activities, such as working on computers or similar equipment that requires key strokes.
In order to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome, workers should do various activities, including stretching, taking breaks, or using specially designed keyboards. These activities should be performed especially if the worker detects any of the following signs of carpal tunnel syndrome: itching, weakening of grip, a tingling sensation in the hands, and burning sensation in the palm.
