4 hurt in construction accident
Four construction workers were hurt after a roof fell on them. The crew was pouring wet concrete in a San Francisco apartment complex construction site when the roof collapsed and caused them fall two to three stories. Three are currently in serious condition at the hospital while the fourth is said to have non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition.
All four men are in their 20s and 30s. The San Francisco Fire Department says the workers are suffering from broken legs and arms and some must undergo surgery. The cause is still under investigation, and California OSHA says they did not find any violations when the site was inspected in January and July.
