State orders Tina Fey to pay thousands of dollars for unpaid workers’ comp insurance
Tina Fey owes the state $79,000 over unpaid workers’ comp insurance for two years, an online report revealed on Friday March 28.
The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board ruled that the actress-comedienne had not carried workers’ comp insurance from November 2012 until February of this year. However, Tina’s spokesperson, Cara Tripicchio, said the actress never failed to pay for workers’ comp insurance for all her employees, and added that a clerical error with the board resulted in the notifications being delivered to a different address.
